Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BugMe, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The Service

BugMe is a reminder application designed for people with ADHD. It sends progressively more persistent notifications to help you complete tasks. Available on iOS and the web.

3. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use BugMe. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • Do not share your credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

5. Third-Party Sign-In

BugMe offers sign-in through Google OAuth. When using third-party sign-in, your use of that service is subject to their own terms and privacy policy. BugMe is not responsible for the availability or security of third-party authentication providers. If you sign in exclusively through Google, password-based features (such as password reset) will not be available for your account.

6. Free & Pro Plans

  • Free plan: 5 reminders, push notifications, 5 priority levels, 2 AI calls/day
  • Pro plan ($4.99/month): unlimited reminders, all notification channels (push, email, Discord), quiet hours, hyperfocus guard, app blocker, Canvas LMS integration, 30 AI calls/day
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
  • You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; access continues until the period ends
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Notifications

BugMe is designed to send persistent, escalating notifications. By enabling notifications, you consent to receiving frequent alerts. You can adjust escalation settings, snooze reminders, or disable channels at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

BugMe is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, failed notifications, or any consequences of using or failing to use the service. Do not rely solely on BugMe for critical tasks.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
